Dr. Brooks focuses on hip resurfacing, the medical and surgical treatment of arthritis, minimally invasive total joint replacement surgery and sports medicine. He is active in his community and has given numerous educational seminars for patients in the Atlanta area. He also volunteers as a mentor and instructor for the Students Orthopaedic Society at Morehouse College in Atlanta.
Dr. Brooks earned his medical degree at the University of Rochester (N.Y.) School of Medicine, where he also completed his orthopedic residency. He has completed a fellowship in adult reconstructive surgery and total joint replacement at Charlotte (N.C.) Orthopaedic Specialists.
