Dr. Perlmutter’s clinical interests include shoulder disorders and sports medicine. He has published and lectured extensively on shoulder disorders. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Society.
Dr. Perlmutter received his medical degree from Hahnemann University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. After completing his orthopedic residency at the University of Miami, he completed his fellowship training as the Rowe Shoulder Fellow at Massachusetts General Hospital.
