Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Felicity Fishman of Yale School of Medicine

Felicity Fishman, MD, is an assistant professor of orthopedics and rehabilitation at Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn. She specializes in the treatment of congenital and pediatric hand and upper extremity conditions.

Her clinical interests include treating adult conditions of the hand and upper extremity including tetraplegia, brachial plexus injuries, hand and wrist fractures as well as other injuries to nerves, tendons and ligaments.

 

She earned her medical degree from New York Medical College. Dr. Fishman went on to complete her orthopedic surgery residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, N.C. Dr. Fishman underwent her pediatric and congenital hand and upper extremity surgery fellowship at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Scottish Rite Hospital.
