Dr. Pacicca is also affiliated with University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, where she serves as an associate professor of pediatric orthopedic surgery.
With expertise in sports medicine, Dr. Pacicca has a special interest in knee, ankle and elbow injuries, limb lengthening and molecular biology of bone formation. Her research interests include anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and rehabilitation as well as laboratory research of bone cell lineage.
Dr. Pacicca is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Pediatric Orthopaedic Society of North America, American Academy of Pediatrics, Orthopaedic Research Society and American Society for Bone and Mineral Research.
After earning her medical degree from New York City-based NYU School of Medicine, Dr. Pacicca completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. She then underwent fellowship training in pediatric orthopedic surgery at Providence, R.I.-based Brown University School of Medicine.
