Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Don Buford of The Dallas PRP and Stem Cell Institute

Don Buford, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and founder of The Dallas PRP and Stem Cell Institute.

In addition, Dr. Buford serves as the director of the Las Vegas Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Course. There he has trained over 600 clinicians over the past nine years.

 

A former second baseman for the Baltimore Orioles, Dr. Buford is board certified in orthopedic surgery and named one of the best orthopedic surgeons in Dallas by the D Magazine. He has also been recognized in the Texas Super Doctors list.

 

After earning his medical degree from the UCLA School of Medicine, Dr. Buford completed his residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. Dr. Buford underwent additional fellowship training in sports medicine at the Southern California Orthopaedic Institute in Bakersfield.
