Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. David Jacofsky of The CORE Institute

David Jacofsky, MD, is the chairman of The CORE Institute in Sun City West, Ariz. He previously served as assistant residency director and division director at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. In addition, Dr. Jacofsky has been the CEO of a number of successful start-up companies.

Dr. Jacofsky is also considered an authority in complex adult joint reconstruction, total joint replacement, traumatology and oncology and has written three orthopedic textbooks in addition to 19 book chapters and 55 peer reviewed publications.

 

Dr. Jacofsky received his medical degree from Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. He completed his residency at Mayo Clinic and his fellowship at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.
