Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Christopher Allmon of OrthoTexas

Christopher D. Allmon, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Frisco-based OrthoTexas. He also provides care at OrthoTexas’ Carrollton and Denton locations. He is a fellowship trained orthopedic hand and wrist surgeon.

Dr. Allmon’s clinical interests include hand and wrist trauma conditions, hand and wrist surgery, hand and wrist fractures, carpal tunnel surgery, Jersey syndrome, repetitive motions syndrome and sports injuries to the hand and wrist. His presentations include a podium presentation at the 2012 Orthopaedic Trauma Association Annual Meeting on “Radiographic Predictors of Compartment Syndrome after Tibial Fracture.”

 

Dr. Allmon completed his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston. He completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at University of Maryland & Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore. He has also completed an upper extremity surgery and microsurgery fellowship at the Hand Center of San Antonio.
