In 2011, Dr. Copeland was named a Best Doctor in America. Currently, she is a member of the Orthopaedic Trauma Association, Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society and American Medical Women’s Association.
Dr. Copeland’s research interests included functional outcomes after trauma and pelvic and acetabular fractures.
After earning her medical degree from Wake Forest (N.C.) University Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Dr. Copeland completed her residency and fellowship at the Baltimore-based University of Maryland Medical System.
