She specializes in hand surgery, and treats arthritis, carpal tunnel, fractures, joints, nerve repairs, trauma and many other common conditions through nonoperative and surgical treatment options.
Dr. Ballard graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago Health Science Center before completing her residency at UC San Diego Medical Center and her fellowship at the University of Florida in Gainesville.
Much of Dr. Ballard’s motivation for treating patients and helping them through rehabilitation stems from injuries she sustained as a high school athlete, as her work in treating sports injuries and conducting upper extremity surgeries reflects.
