Dr. Straus is also affiliated with Pine Creek Medical Center and Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital, both based in Dallas.
With expertise in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine, Dr. Straus specializes in foot and ankle surgery and has a special interest in ankle replacement and ligament reconstruction.
Dr. Straus is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society, Texas Orthopaedic Association and Texas Medical Association.
After earning his medical degree from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Dr. Straus completed a residency at Charleston-based Medical University of South Carolina and a foot and ankle surgery fellowship at Texas Orthopedic Hospital’s Foundation for Orthopaedic, Athletic and Reconstructive Research in Houston.
