Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Atul Kamath of Penn Orthopaedics

Atul Kamath, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at Penn Orthopaedics in Philadelphia.

Dr. Kamath serves as the director of the center for hip preservation at Philadelphia-based Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. He is also an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

 

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Kamath is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons and International Congress for Joint Reconstruction.

 

After earning his medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston, Dr. Kamath completed his residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Kamath is also fellowship trained from Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn.
