Orthopedic surgeon to know: Dr. Alan Davis of Cleveland Clinic

Alan Davis, MD, is a foot and ankle surgeon practicing with the Cleveland Clinic. He practices primarily at the Cleveland Clinic Westlake (Ohio) Family Health Center. Dr. Davis joined Cleveland Clinic in 1999, before which he served as former chairman of the St. John West Shore Hospital’s department of orthopedics in Westlake, Ohio.

Dr. Davis’ clinical interests include foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine and diabetic foot care. He has expertise in ankle replacement, flatfoot reconstruction, fracture care, among numerous other procedures. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and American Medical Association. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. Additionally, he is team physician for the Cleveland Barons American Hockey League team.

 

Dr. Davis earned his medical degree at Wright State University School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. He completed his residency and foot/ankle surgery fellowship at Cleveland Clinic.
