The best-seller, titled “The Rules of Medicine: A Medical Professional’s Guide for Success,” is Dr. Sloan’s first book.
Dr. Sloan, also known as #OrthoDoc, said she intended the book to be a one-stop shop for everything physicians wish they knew when starting their careers. It also details Dr. Sloan’s experiences as a black, female physician who gave birth to her first of three kids during her last year of orthopedic training.
The book is available for purchase through Kindle ($3.99) and in paperback ($9.99).
