Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. William Warden of Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group

William H. Warden III, MD, a sports medicine specialist, practices with Memorial Orthopaedic Surgical Group in Long Beach, Calif. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and American Medical Association.

Dr. Warden has previously served as chairman of the orthopedics department at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center and at Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach. He has a professional interest in sports medicine injuries as well as arthroscopic and reconstructive knee and shoulder surgery. He offers sports medicine services to local high schools and Long Beach City College. He serves as a reviewer for the American Journal of Sports Medicine.

 

Dr. Warden obtained his medical degree at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. He completed his orthopedic residency at the Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center and his sports medicine fellowship at the Southern California Center for Sports Medicine in Long Beach.
