Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. Timothy Weber of OrthoIndy

Timothy Weber, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at OrthoIndy, an orthopedic group with 14 locations throughout Indiana. His clinical interests include treatment of foot and ankle conditions, with a focus on trauma care.

Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Weber pursues his medical interests through academic research. He has had articles published in Journal of Orthopaedic Trauma and Operative Techniques in Orthopaedics, among other peer-reviewed journals. He holds memberships with American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, American Trauma Society, American Board of Medical Specialties, Orthopaedic Trauma Association, AO North America and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

Dr. Weber earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, where he also performed orthopedic residency training. He went on to complete an orthopedic traumatology fellowship at University of Washington’s Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
