He is affiliated with hospitals throughout New Jersey, including the active staff of both Capital Health Medical Center-Hopewell and Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. At New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery, Dr. Bills is on the research staff of the hospital’s department of orthopedic research as a visiting scientist and is a consulting staff physician at the hospital’s Metabolic Bone Disease Service and Osteoporosis Center. He holds memberships with the American Medical Association and the Medical Society of New Jersey, among other professional societies.
Dr. Bills earned his medical degree at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He went on to complete residency training in three focus areas: orthopedic surgery at Piscataway, N.J.-based Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, pediatric orthopedic surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and bone tumors at New York City-based Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He performed a fellowship in orthopedic research and metabolic bone disease at the Hospital for Special Surgery and New York Hospital.
