Her other clinical interests include the treatment of multi-ligament knee injuries, knee meniscus tears, shoulder instability and labral tears. Outside of her clinical practice, she serves as an assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. She is a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Arthroscopy Association of North America and Ruth Jackson Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Hammoud earned her medical degree at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore. She went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery and a sports medicine fellowship at Boston-based Massachusetts General Hospital.
