Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. Nicholas Grosso of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics

Nicholas Grosso, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon at The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics, a practice with 65 locations throughout the Maryland, Virginia and Washington, D.C., area. His clinical interests include fracture care, total joint replacement and sports medicine.

He serves as the president of The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics and practices at the central Maryland division locations in Catonsville, Columbia and Eldersburg. He is affiliated with Columbia, Md.-based Howard County General Hospital, where he serves as chairman of the department of orthopedics. He holds memberships with American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons, among other professional societies.

 

Dr. Grosso earned his medical degree at Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences in Bethesda, Md. He went on to complete residency training at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, also in Bethesda.
