He serves as director of the total joint replacement program at Murrells Inlet, S.C.-based Tidelands Waccamaw Community Hospital. Dr. Bohan also has a special interest in nonsurgical techniques, such as platelet rich plasma injections. For the past two years, he has been named the “Best Orthopaedic Surgeon” in the Myrtle Beach Herald Readers’ Choice Awards.
Dr. Bohan earned his medical degree at Wake Forest School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, N.C., where he also received advanced training in orthopedic surgery. He went on to complete fellowship training at Wake Forest School of Medicine, as well.
