He holds staff privileges at Aurora Medical Center, Wisconsin Specialty Surgery Center and United Hospital System, all of which are based in Kenosha, Wis. He has performed more than 3,000 arthroscopic surgeries, including more than 1,000 arthroscopic rotator cuff repairs and labrum of the shoulder repairs. In Kenosha, he also serves as a team physician for University of Wisconsin-Parkside and Carthage College.
Dr. Main earned his medical degree at Chicago-based Feinberg School of Medicine at Northwestern University. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Chicago-based Center for Athletic Medicine, in affiliation with University of Illinois, where he also completed a fellowship in sports medicine.
