He is on the active medical staff at Burlington, Vt.-based University of Vermont Medical Center. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Lawlis also teaches at the Burlington, Vt.-based University of Vermont. He holds memberships with professional societies like American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, New England Shoulder and Elbow Society, Vermont Medical Society and Vermont Orthopaedic Society.
Dr. Lawlis earned his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Washington, D.C.-based George Washington University Medical Center.
