Orthopedic surgeon leader to know: Dr. James Bennett of the Fondren Orthopedic Group

James Bennett, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon with the Houston-based Fondren Orthopedic Group.

He specializes in hand surgery.

 

Dr. Bennett began his career after earning his medical degree from the University of Louisville (Ky.) He completed a residency at New York’s Upstate Medical Center and returned to the University of Louisville for his fellowship.

 

He is affiliated with Houston Methodist Hospital, the Shriner’s Hospital for Children and the Texas Orthopedic Hospital.

 

Dr. Bennett is the chief of staff for the Texas Orthopedic Hospital.

 

He is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
