Outside of practicing with First State Orthopaedics, Dr. Johnson serves as the director of the orthopedic trauma service at Christiana Care Health System, a network of hospitals located in and around Delaware. In the past decade, he has been honored as a top doctor and surgeon by Delaware Today magazine on three occasions. He also holds memberships with professional societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
Dr. Johnson earned his medical degree at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, Pa., where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. He went on to participate in an orthopedic trauma surgery fellowship at Cooper University Hospital, which has offices throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
