He serves as the chair of the department of orthopedic surgery at Christiana Care Health System in Newark, Del., and as a clinical assistant professor at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He is also an orthopedic consultant to the U.S. Soccer Federation. Outside of his clinical practice, Dr. Galinat writes and edits articles for medical journals.
Dr. Galinat earned his medical degree from Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. He went on to complete a residency in orthopedic surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and a shoulder surgery and sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City.
