He serves as chairman of surgery at Illinois-based Rush Oak Park Hospital and as section head of the cartilage research and restoration center at Chicago-based Rush University Medical Center, where he is also a professor in the department of orthopedics. He serves as the head of the Master’s program in orthopedics at Rush, where he trains residents and fellows in sports medicine and research. He is a physician for Chicago athletic teams, including the Chicago Bulls and White Sox.
Dr. Cole earned his medical degree at University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. He went on to complete an orthopedic residency at New York-based Hospital for Special Surgery-Cornell Medical Center and a sports medicine fellowship at University of Pittsburgh.
