Dr. Bach focuses on ACL surgery, shoulder surgery and sports medicine. He has expertise in minimally invasive techniques. His research centers on ACL reconstruction outcome studies. He has authored more than 600 scientific papers, abstracts and book chapters. Dr. Bach has served as the editor for the Journal of Knee Surgery.
Dr. Bach has previously served as president of the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine. He has also served on boards for the Illinois Special Olympics and Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation.
Dr. Bach completed his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and his orthopedic residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He completed his sports medicine fellowship at the Hospital of Special Surgery in New York City.
