Both physicians specialize in joint replacement and sports medicine, and have already collaborated in the operating room.

Dr. Michael Florack completed a fellowship in orthopedic traumatology at Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tenn., before linking up with his father.

He told WBAY that his father has been a great mentor throughout his training, and now as a partner.

“Looking for a senior partner that’s done it successfully and very well for a number of years, been able to keep current, been able to adapt and evolve with medicine as it changes, while providing really high level care, I think my dad just exemplifies that,” he said.
