Orthopedic surgeon injured in bike accident — 4 notes

Orthopedic surgeon Kennan Vance, DO, of Grand Junction, Colo.-based Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine was injured in a biking accident last week and remains in the hospital, according to The Daily Sentinel.

1. Dr. Vance was struck by a vehicle by while biking on Fruita-based Colorado National Monument.

 

2. He is currently in critical but stable condition at Grand Junction, Colo.-based St. Mary’s Hospital.

 

3. Chief Rangers reported two bikers crashed while riding downhill on Fri., April 28.

 

4. Dr. Vance is a partner at Western Orthopedics and Sports Medicine.
