Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Timothy Volk joins Jamestown Regional Medical Center: 3 things to know

The Jamestown, N.D.-based Jamestown Regional Medical Center has added Timothy Volk, DO, to its team of orthopedic surgeons, according to the Jamestown Sun.

Here are three things to know about Dr. Volk:

 

1. His areas of expertise include arthroplasty, joint preserving surgery and joint restoration surgery.

 

2. He attended medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pa., and recently completed his orthopedic residency at Millcreek Community Hospital, which is also located in Erie.

 

3. His residency included visits to local hospitals, like the Ohio-based Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center and the West Virginia-based Charleston Area Medical Center to learn about specialties like pediatric care and trauma surgery.
