Here are three things to know:
1. Dr. Nemec is an orthopedic foot, ankle, trauma and reconstructive surgeon at Mich.-based Bay Street Orthopaedics. He has subspecialty training in total ankle replacement, foot and ankle reconstruction, bunion and hammertoe correction.
2. Dr. Nemec received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from the Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing. He underwent fellowship training at Orthopedic Associates of Michigan in Grand Rapids.
3. He is a member of the American Osteopathic Association and Sigma Sigma Phi National Osteopathic Honor Society. Dr. Nemec is currently on staff at McLaren Northern Michigan in Petoskey, McLaren Northern Michigan-Cheboygan Campus in Cheboygan, and Charlevoix Area Hospital in Charlevoix, Mich.
