Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Rocco Monto to publish new book: 5 highlights

Rocco Monto, MD, an orthopedic surgeon in Nantucket, Mass., will release his new book in early 2018, according to broadwayworld.com.

Here are five highlights:

 

1. Rodale Books will publish the book titled, “THE FOUNTAIN: How to Make 60 the New 30.”

 

2. The book will offer a “sensible, comprehensive, and scientifically-based approach to aging that includes the diet, supplements, exercise, mental training, and new medications to help us all live longer, happier, healthier, and more productive lives,” according to Dr. Monto’s website.

3. A team physician for United States Soccer, Dr. Monto is a media spokesperson for the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a medical consultant for various athletes, sports teams, celebrities and corporations.

 

4. Dr. Monto’s research focuses on orthobiologics and discovering digestible ways of understanding complex medical issues.

 

5. He completed his fellowship at the Steadman Hawkins Clinic in Greenwood Village, Colo.
