Orthopedic surgeon Dr. Didi Omiyi joins hospital board: 4 things to know

Hospital Sisters Health System’s St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham, Ill., named Didi Omiyi, MD, to the board of directors, according to Effingham Daily News.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Omiyi.

 

1. Dr. Omiyi specializes in orthopedic surgery, treating hip and knee arthritis as well as sports injuries.

 

2. He began serving at St. Anthony’s in 2014.

 

3. After earning his medical degree from Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Omiyi completed his orthopedic surgery residency at Howard University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

 

4. Dr. Omiyi completed his adult reconstruction fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital in New York.
