Orthopedic surgeon appointed to healthcare transition team

Gov.-elect Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.) and Lt. Gov.-elect Jeanette Nuñez (R-Fla.) appointed orthopedic surgeon Andrew Borom, MD, to the Transition Advisory Committee on Health and Wellness, according to Sunshine State News.

Dr. Borom is among more than 50 advisors who will serve on the committee. The advisors will aid the Transition Team as they develop their plan to implement Gov.-elect DeSantis’ healthcare reforms.

Dr. Borom is a surgeon at Tallahassee (Fla.) Orthopaedic Clinic. He specializes in foot and ankle surgery.
