Orthopedic surgeon among 3 named to Washington hospital’s CMO roles

An orthopedic surgeon is among three physicians who will share the chief medical officer role at Pullman (Wash.) Regional Hospital and Clinic Network, Big Country News reported Nov. 17.

Edwin Tingstad, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine specialist. He’s worked at Pullman-based Inland Orthopaedic Surgery & Sports Medicine Clinic since 2000. Dr. Tingstad will be an adviser to Pullman Regional Hospital’s surgery, anesthesia, imaging, outpatient, post-anesthesia care and rehabilitation services departments. He’ll also support specialty care recruitment and be a liaison for the Pullman Regional Hospital Foundation.

Dr Tingstad joins emergency physician Pete Mikkelsen, MD, and family medicine physician and obstetrician Stephen Hall, MD, in the chief medical officer roles.
