Koha Health plans to expand on a national scale, finding companies outside of the New England region and expanding from orthopedics to also include ASC and musculoskeletal practices, according to an Aug. 25 press release.

“After almost 40 years, we are excited to take what has been a successful family business to a national footprint,” Brian Hall, president and COO of Koha, said in the release. “What we’ve developed in New England has tremendous value for orthopedic practices nationwide, especially at this challenging economic period.”

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
