Orthopedic devicemaker adds former NuVasive exec to board

Paragon 28 added Quentin Blackford to its board of directors.

Mr. Blackford will be chair of the devicemaker’s compensation committee and a member of the audit committee, according to an Aug. 4 news release. He is president, CEO and director of iRhythm Technologies. He held leadership roles at other devicemakers including as CFO of NuVasive and senior leadership at Zimmer Biomet. He also served as a member on Alphatec’s board of directors.

In addition, Scott Drake stepped down from Paragon 28’s board of directors, the release said.
