The Preserve decreases the number of assistants required for hip replacements, improves operational efficiency and maximizes surgical reproducibility, according to a July 18 press release.
It requires one less person in the operating room, eliminates soft tissue disruption and is compatible with the company’s Athello tables and competing direct anterior tables.
It provides a decreased surgical footprint, less bony trauma, cost savings and is ASC-friendly.
The Preserve technique was pioneered by Timothy Henderson, MD.
At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
