The partnership aims to bring several new physicians to the practice, and a Naples location is expected to open in January 2023, HOPCo said in a Nov. 2 news release. Orthopedic Center of Florida has 22 physicians who cover a range of spine and orthopedic services.
“For over 35 years, our group has provided high-quality care to the Fort Myers community,” John Mehalik, MD, of Orthopedic Center of Florida said in the release. “Our expansion to the Naples region is an opportunity to provide this same level of care to more patients. We knew we needed an experienced strategic partner to facilitate that growth. HOPCo’s resources, infrastructure, and experience in the musculoskeletal space made them the natural choice for us.”
In the last 12 months, HOPCo formed partnerships in Pennsylvania, Florida, Nevada, Michigan and Arizona.
