The Orthopedic Center of Florida has integrated the CORI Surgical System for hip and knee replacement surgeries.

The system uses 3D digital modeling and real-time surgical guidance to provide orthopedic surgeons with better control during replacement procedures, according to an Aug. 13 news release from Orthopedic Center of Florida.

Courtney Bell, MD, an orthopedic surgeon and hip and knee replacement specialist at the center, has gone through specialized training to maximize the CORI system.

By combining the CORI Surgical System and Smith+Nephew’s implants can lead to better patient outcomes and increased precision.

The Orthopedic Center of Florida has four locations across the state, the release said.

At the Becker’s 32nd Annual Meeting: The Business and Operations of ASCs, taking place October 29-31 in Chicago, ASC leaders, surgeons and healthcare executives will explore strategies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, navigate reimbursement challenges and prepare for the future of ambulatory surgery.
