Mr. Mraz has taken over following the retirement of John Krelle, who served in the role for 18 years.
Previously, Mr. Mraz served as president and CEO of ApiFix, a biomaterials company that was acquired by OrthoPediatrics in 2020. Following the acquisition, he continued to serve as the senior vice president and general manager of the scoliosis franchise.
