CustoMED, an AI-driven orthopedic platform, raised $6 million in funding in a seed round.
The company utilizes AI and 3D printing to create orthopedic surgical tools and implants that are patient-specific, according to an Oct. 29 news release from CustoMED.
CustoMED plans to use the investment to expand into additional automated orthopedic indications and support regulatory milestones in the U.S. and European Union.
Longevity Venture Partners, Varana Capital, Flag Capital, the Israel Innovation Authority, a leading orthopedic implant company and Avishai Abrahami, invested during the round, the release said.
