OrthoPediatrics to acquire devicemaker for $33M

OrthoPediatrics is set to acquire Pega Medical in a $33 million deal.

Pega Medical’s pediatric orthopedic portfolio includes the Fassier-Duval Telescopic Intramedullary System for treating osteogenesis imperfecta and other bone deformities, according to a June 14 news release.

The deal includes an upfront cash payment of $31 million and $2 million in stock.
