OrthoPediatrics launched its 3P Pediatric Plating Platform Hip System nationwide after completing over 350 surgical implantations during a limited launch.
The system is now broadly available to pediatric orthopedic surgeons throughout the United States, according to an Aug. 25 news release.
The 3P Hip System includes locking proximal femur plates and beam screw constructs in infant, child and adolescent configurations. It is designed to treat proximal femur trauma and deformities.
The 3P Hip System is the first system in OrthoPediatrics’ broader Pediatric Plating Platform portfolio. Several additional systems are planned, according to the release.
