1. Dr. Snyder is a hip scope surgery specialist.
2. Using a surgical scope and camera, he performs hip surgery through tiny incisions.
3. Many of his patients may have torn cartilage in the hip, bone spurs or tendon damage that doesn’t require hip replacement surgery.
4. After receiving his medical degree from Chicago Medical School, Dr. Snyder completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, Ill.
5. During his fellowship, he helped with treatment of Chicago Blackhawks players, University of Chicago athletes, high school football players and the Chinese women’s Olympic volleyball and diving teams.
6. Also during fellowship, Dr. Snyder gained experience in hip arthroscopy.
