OrthoIndy Hospital earns top ratings for joint, spine procedures

Indianapolis-based OrthoIndy Hospital received five-star ratings from Healthgrades for five orthopedic services, including inpatient and outpatient total knee replacement, total hip replacement and spinal fusion surgery.

From 2022 to 2024, patients at five-star hospitals had significantly lower complication risks compared to one-star hospitals: 80.2% lower for knee replacements, 79.9% lower for hip replacements and 54% lower for spinal fusion.

OrthoIndy Hospital was also featured on Healthgrade’s list of America’s 50 best hospitals for both outpatient joint replacement and outpatient orthopedic surgery for the third year in a row and received three Specialty Excellence Awards for performance in inpatient and outpatient joint replacement and outpatient orthopedic surgery.
