Orthofix’s TrueLok Elevate was launched commercially, the company said June 17.
TrueLok Elevate is the first commercially available device in the U.S. with a patented design for transverse bone transport, according to a news release. It is used for limb preservation and addresses bony or soft tissue deformities or defects.
More than 130 TrueLok procedures have been completed globally during its limited market release.
“I have been using the TrueLok Elevate System in my practice to treat patients with ulcers and other ischemic conditions and am pleased by the results I have observed so far,” Victor Anciano, MD, a surgeon who used the device in its limited release, said. “The system offers a reproducible, streamlined surgical approach as well as easy adjustability for the patient.”
