OrthoConnecticut, Coastal Orthopedics to refurbish old building for orthopedic center

Wilton Investors, a principal of Danbury-based OrthoConnecticut and Norwalk, Conn.-based Coastal Orthopedics, plans to refurbish a two-story, 45,000-square-foot medical office building to create an orthopedic center, according to a July 3 report from Chron.

Wilton Investors went to the Wilton (Conn.) Planning & Zoning Commission to request an amendment to the city’s parking space requirements, which was a blanket formula based only on square footage. The commission approved an amendment that provides larger parking-to-square-footage ratios for healthcare facilities.
