Three things to know:
1. A sports medicine specialist and orthopedic knee and shoulder surgeon, Dr. Wolfson will practice at OrthoConnecticut’s Danbury and Southbury offices.
2. Dr. Wolfson joins OrthoConnecticut after completing fellowship training at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He also underwent training at New York University Langone Orthopedic Hospital in New York City and received his medical degree from the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City.
3. Dr. Wolfson has provided medical coverage for numerous professional sports teams, as well as for the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, New York City Marathon, Ironman U.S. Championship, and other notable institutions.
