Seven notes:
1. Jeffrey Chapek, MD, is a hip and knee reconstruction specialist. His other clinical interests include degenerative joint disease, adult hip dysplasia, post-traumatic osteoarthritis and trochanter bursitis.
2. Dr. Chapek earned his medical degree at Athens-based Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
3. Adam Schumaier, MD, is a hand, wrist and elbow surgeon. His clinical interests include fracture care and sports medicine. He also uses minimally invasive arthroscopic techniques.
4. Dr. Schumaier earned his medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit, and he completed his residency at the University of Connecticut in Storrs.
5. Ayesha Yahya, DO, specializes in foot and ankle surgery. She focuses on fracture care, deformity reconstruction, ankle replacement, ankle instability and Achilles tendon disorders.
6. Dr. Yahya earned her medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her residency at WellSpan York (Pa.) Hospital.
7. All three surgeons are licensed to practice in Kentucky and Ohio.
