1. After earning his medical degree from the Birmingham-based University of Alabama School of Medicine, Dr. Hamid completed his residency at the Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, N.C. Dr. Hamid completed his fellowship training at the St. Louis-based Washington University.
2. In addition, Dr. Hamid serves on the editorial review board for the Journal of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Journal of Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
3. After earning his medical degree from the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Dr. Shiffern completed his residency at the Salt Lake City-based University of Utah. Dr. Schiffern underwent fellowship training at WB Carrell Memorial Clinic in Dallas.
4. Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Schiffern is a LIFT member for shoulder surgery.
